Do the bites hurt? Cause any permanent damage? Getting bit by a wild turkey does not sound like a good time to me.
most of them didn't hurt; the turkey was pretty tentative, so his was more of a little peck. seagull bites hurt like A MOTHER, though: they keep chomping until you can feel their beak scrape your bone, and they don't let go.
